Problem
DHL needed to align its traditional courier processes and practices with the requirement from its client PACCAR Mexico to make partial, sequenced deliveries according to the Just-in-Time production system.
Solution
In collaboration with Grupo Red, a shipment management system and a warehouse management system were developed to meet the client’s requirement.
Result
In addition to complying with the logistics program, errors were reduced, and losses minimized. This system also allowed them to offer this new delivery modality to other clients, increasing the competitiveness of their offering.
